Dorothy M. Aldinger, 83 of Waterloo, died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at her home.
She was born February 6, 1933 in Beaver Dam, WI, the daughter Matthew and Margaret (Swederski) Scheradella. She married Robert Kopplin in 1952 in Reeseville, WI and together they had 2 children, Gary and Nadine. On September 19, 1970 she married Eugene "Chubby" Aldinger in Madison, WI. Dorothy was employed at Perry Printing for many years. She enjoyed cooking, collecting dolls and other items. She cherished time with her family and friends and was overflowing with generosity. She always put others before herself. She will be deeply missed by many, especially her beloved Cat, Stacy.
She is survived by: Son Gary ("Chatty" Zwieg) Kopplin of Waterloo; Grandsons Kasey (Carrie) Kopplin of Fort Atkinson, Cody (Nicole) Kopplin Beaver Dam, Jessie Kopplin of Waterloo; 3 Great-Granddaughters Brittney, Jenna, and Savannah; Sister Ruth (Alfred) Geiger of Columbus; Sister-in-Law Judy Scheradella of Waupun; Linda Kopplin of Waterloo; Special Friends Sharon Burbach and Mary Ann Harter . She is also survived by 3 nieces, 3 nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dorothy is preceded in death by: her parents, Husband "Chubby", Daughter Nadine, Granddaughter Angie, and Great-Granddaughter Brenna.
The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the Waterloo Fire Dept. and EMS, the Columbus Hospital, and Hillside Hospice. A special thanks to Nurses Kathy and Cindy and Caregivers Carrie and Laura for their loving and comforting care. Also, a special thanks to "Chatty" Zwieg for her long-time friendship and care until the end.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Waterloo with Rev. Thomas Wilsmann presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00PM until the time of service at the church.
