Dora H. Heiman

Dora H. Heiman, 81 of Waunakee, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center of Milwaukee 

Dora was born on March 19, 1943, in Panama, the daughter of Marion and Henrietta (Fauve) Richardson. On September 1, 1962, she married DuWayne, and the couple shared 46 years together until his passing in 2008. Dora enjoyed Dancing to Elvis, gambling, and spending time with her family. For many years she worked for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services at Mendota Mental Health Institute and after retirement worked part time at the Waunakee Manor.

Dora is survived by: her children Mary (Michael) Olsen and Michelle (Darrin) Hoffman; sister Bonnie (John) Howe; grandchildren Michael, Samantha, Morgan, Emily, Keith, and Kendra; 6 beautiful great- grandchildren; in-laws Richard Heiman and Nancy Heiman; and loving nieces, and nephew. Dora is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Our Queen will remain in our hearts forever.

Dora is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dora's name to the Alzheimer's Association Wisconsin Chapter would be appreciated. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Washington Cemetery Town of Portland with Rev. James Adomeit presiding. Fellowship will be held following the service at St. John Ev, Lutheran Church of Waterloo.
