Donna J. Pann, age 80, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Highland House in Waterloo.
Donna was born on April 28, 1934 in the Town of Portland, on the family farm, the daughter of William and Elsie (Steckhahn) Splittgerber. Donna was a graduate of Waterloo High School. On June 8, 1957 she married Hubert Pann at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Waterloo. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2003. She was a lifelong resident of Waterloo and member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary Krause-Langer post 6614 until the group disbanded. She and her husband were avid Wisconsin Badger football fans, following the team to many bowel games over the years.
Survivors include: daughter, Vickie (Paul) Knabel of Winona,MN; son, Terry Pann of Nathrop, Co; two grandchildren Sarah (Andy) Kramer of Cochrane, WI and Kevin (Lana) Knabel of Rollingstone, MN; three great grandchildren, Keira and Mason Knabel and Adelyn Kramer; she is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Hubert, brother Jim Splittgerber and sisters Mabel Gaffney and Lucille Heiman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Waterloo, with the Rev. James Adomeit presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30-11:00 am. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery in the town of Portland.
