Donna B. Kranz, 79 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Golden Living Center of Watertown.
Donna was born on June 9, 1937 in Ashley, ND, the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Miller) Haas. Donna married Rev. W. Allan R. Kranz on June 6, 1961 in Sioux Falls, SD. Pastor and Donna moved to Watertown in 1971 and they pastored First Baptist Church for 40 years to the Sunday. Donna worked for the Watertown Unified School District for over 30 years and spent many of those years in the Payroll Department. Donna was a committed Christian and was the picture of class, keeping her home and husband in pristine condition. She was the kindest of ladies and showed her generosity constantly. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting gifts and enjoyed playing the piano. Donna was a terrific and patient pastor's wife, a sacrificial and loving mom, and a dear friend.
She is survived by: her Husband Rev. Allan Kranz of Glendale; her Children Nancy (Ward) Townsend of Marietta, GA and Paul (Valerie) Kranz of Glendale; Grandchildren Jonathan Townsend, Christopher (Julia) Townsend, Lauren Kranz, Marissa Kranz; Great-Grandchildren Joel Townsend, Jack Townsend (on the way); Sister Gloria (Timothy) Hammelman, Sister Priscilla (David) Kerry, Brother Larry (Nancy) Haas, Sister-in-Law Shirley Haas. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents and a Brother Curtis Haas.
A time of sharing and remembering Donna will be from 1:00PM-3:00PM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Homes of Watertown.
