Donna (Arnold) Bosch (82) of Waterloo, passed away on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at Watertown Regional Medical Center, after a valiant battle with cancer. The cancer didn’t ultimately win; however, the big guy upstairs thought the only way to take her was to stop the strongest part of her and chose to stop her heart. Her heart was filled with love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all our fur babies.
There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family and sharing her mad cooking skills and her incredible sense of humor. She enjoyed watching sporting events (but mostly of her grandsons) camping and vacationing with family and friends, where she treasured every moment.
Donna was a beautiful and brilliant person inside and out. She lived in many places throughout Wisconsin and beautified them all with her flowers, keen sense of decoration, and her husband Dan’s remarkable concrete stamps.
Her life’s career was in accounting where she worked for several businesses that started in the 70’s at Exquisite Carpet with her brother in-law Leroy Gosdeck and Doug James and retired from WPS in Madison in 2015.
Donna is survived by her children Chris Behling (Audrey Brown) of Tomahawk and Jenifer (Scott) Quimby of Waterloo. 6 Grandchildren - Nicki Behling of Waterloo, Alicia Behling of Brooklyn, Ethan (Brittany) Quimby, Damon (Stephanie) Quimby, and Cameron Quimby, all of Waterloo, and Josh Behling of the United States Marine Corps. 3 Great Grandchildren which were the lights of her life, Faye and Fennec Quimby, and Luden Quimby. She has 2 sisters Diane Gosdeck (Art Shaker) of Marshall, “Tootie” (Glenn) Travnick of Waterloo, and brother Dennis (Cyndi) Arnold of Portage. Plus, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends as well.
She was preceded in death by her parents Merlin & Jeanette Arnold of Marshall and her brothers James and David Arnold. Her infant daughter Tracy Behling, and her first husband Gerald Behling in 2024. Her beloved husband Daniel Bosch who passed in 2006, and her good friend Doug James.
Donna always had pets and gave them as much love as she gave everyone she met. They all lived long healthy happy lives. Her final three cats, Sashi, Wiley and Shadow will be with her for eternity. Heaven will be a whole lot prettier as “Dolly” now tends to God’s garden.
Burial will take place at 11am on Monday, Oct 7th 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
Special thanks to the Waterloo Police, Fire and EMS for their gentle care of Donna in her waning moments. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Fire and EMS.
