Donald M. Lovrine 86, of Watertown passed away on October 11, 2018 at Marquardt Health Center.
Don was born on September 27, 1932 in Wauwatosa the son of Adolph and Elizabeth (Bartlein) Lovrine. Don served his country in the US Army. On August 9, 1952 Don married the love of his life Eunice Reder and the couple was blessed with a son, Scott. Don worked as a carpenter for the majority of his working career all over the state of Wisconsin. Prior to his carpentry career, he worked as a mason, a switchman for the railroad, a tree trimmer, landscaper, and a police officer for both the town and city of Oconomowoc. He was an avid outdoorsman and an active member in the Daniel Boone Conservation Club. He loved to hunt and fish. His loving family remembers him as a jack of all trades who could do anything. He was Mr. Fixit and could visualize a solution to any problem and make it a reality. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Don is survived by: his loving wife of 66 years, Eunice; his son Scott (Lori Butler) Lovrine; and a brother, James Lovrine. He is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Joan.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Marquardt Health Center, the staff of Watertown Regional Medical Center, and the staff of the UW-Madison Hospital ICU and Emergency Room.

A memorial gathering to honor the life of Don will be held at a later date.
