Donald D. Anderson, 77 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his home.
Don was born on August 24, 1938 in Rockford, IL, the son of David and Mildred Anderson. He spent the first 17 years of his life in Rockford, but moved to Bethesda Lutheran Communities on July 3, 1955 and was a proud member of Bethesda's 50 Year Club. Don was very close to the staff and his friends at Bethesda, especially Charles. The two shared a loved for the Brewers, Packers and Badgers. Don enjoyed old westerns and police dramas and anything that John Wayne or Clint Eastwood are in. Don always loved carrying the Cross to the pulpit at the start of chapel service and being part of the Christmas program every year at Bethesda. Don will be sadly missed by many friends and caregiver.
Don is survived by 2 sisters and his Guardian Mary (Heiden) Delgado of West Bend.
Memorials to Bethesda Lutheran Communities would be appreciated.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd - Bethesda Campus with Rev. Dennis Kneer presiding. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery following the service.
