Dolores Muriel (Parpart) Warmuth, of Waterloo, fell asleep in Jesus on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 25 days. She was a resident at the Highland House of Waterloo. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Waterloo, WI.
Dolores was born November 13, 1929 to Erich and Rosetta (Prietz) Parpart in Fox Lake, WI. She was the 8th of 14 children. She was confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran church in Marshall, WI. She married Eugene E. Warmuth on July 8, 1950, at St. Jerome Catholic church in Columbus, WI. She gave birth to 5 children - Rev. John (Karen) Warmuth, Neillsville, WI; Carol (Chip) Felland, Waunakee, WI; Joan (Dave) Umscheid, Hillsboro, OR; Eugene Warmuth, Mt. Pleasant, WI; and Sandra (Tim) Grover, Waterloo, WI.
She was a wonderful wife and mother, and greatly appreciated for her baking skills. She was a second mother to the many children she cared for over the years in addition to her own children. She became very adept at tearing down walls and other preparation work as she and her husband of 65 years remodeled a number of homes over the years. She was also noted for her ability to rearrange furniture no matter how large or small a room was, and for changing the wall color at a moment's notice. We loved to tease Mom that they lost a lot of square footage due to the paint layers!
She is survived by her five children; nine grandchildren: David (Sara) Warmuth of Indianapolis, IN, Rebecca (Rev. David) Juhl of Momence, IL, Sarah (Jack) Greil of Tomahawk, WI, Laura (William) Schaefer of Lannon, WI, Benjamin (Erica) Warmuth of Silver Lake, WI, James Barr of Burien, WA, Meaghan (Keaton) Hemenway of Hillsboro, OR., Trevor Warmuth of Madison WI, Cora Grover of Waterloo, WI; step-grandson Patrick (Jessica) Grover of Sun Prairie WI, step-grandson Christian (Kyoko) Felland, Madison WI; great-grandchildren Meghan and Amelia Warmuth , Catherine, Matthew, Christopher, Timothy and Bethany Juhl, Ashton, Hayden and Dean Greil, Ella, Seth and Claire Schaefer, Noah, Levi and Robin Warmuth, and Kaleb Hemenway, step-grandchildren Logan and Sycamore Felland. She is further survived by her siblings, Marion Straseske, Frank (Barb) Parpart, Rosie (Dan) Amato and Lilly (Larry) Fisher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; brothers Ed, Erich, Floyd, Alvin, Lavern and Lloyd; sisters Evelyn Kind, Doris Bock, and Luella Langfeld; grandson Erich Warmuth, step-granddaughter Melissa Felland, and step-grandson Spencer Grover.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Highland House Assisted Living for the exceptional care of both their father and mother in the last two years.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Waterloo WI, with Rev. James Adomeit presiding. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the time of service at the church. A lunch will follow in the school cafeteria.
