Dolores Kanzenbach
December 5, 1929 — November 28, 2017
Dolores F. Kanzenbach 87 of New Hope, TN formerly of Waterloo passed away on Nov. 28, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Dolores was born on Dec. 5, 1929 in the Town of Milford the daughter of William and Evelyn (Dobbratz) Dettmann. She married Harold Kanzenbach on Dec. 8, 1956 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waterloo where they were members. She and her husband enjoyed farming, and later in life Dolores worked at the Waterloo Shoe factory and Jim’s Cheese. Dolores loved watching the cows graze on the hills in Tennessee. Above all, she was a loving, mother and grandmother and she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include: Daughters Debra (Mark) Thomas of New Hope, TN and Ruth (Darcy) Marcellini of Jasper, TN; Grandchildren Lauren, Katherine and Emily Molloy; Great Granddaughter Ashton. She is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends. Dolores is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold and sister Ruth Stroebel.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday Dec. 2, 2017 at the Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home in Waterloo with the Rev. Thomas Wilsmann presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
