Delores A. Hebl, age 84, of Waterloo, passed away at her home on Tuesday April 23, 2013. She was born Nov. 18, 1928 the daughter of William and Edna (French) Gruchow. Delores married John Hebl on Feb. 7, 1948 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshall. Working for 45 years as a teller at Farmers and Merchants bank of Waterloo gave her great joy. As a big sports fan, Delores loved Brewer baseball along with The Bucks and Badger basketball and hockey games. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Delores is survived by her daughter; Jode (Lynn) Rettschlag, son; Keith (Mary Kay) Hebl, grandchildren; Trent and Gregg Alisa) Rettschlag, Kristy Hebl, Brian (Shawn) Hebl, Trevor and Joe Olson, great grandchildren; Damien, Paige, Kerstin, Ashley and Octavious Hebl, Joshua and Michael Rettschlag, and her cat Windy. Her brother; William (Elaine) Gruchow and sister-in-law; Berdine Fiebiger-Christiansen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter-in-law Donna Hebl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 27, 2013 at
HOLY FAMILY PARISH WATERLOO CAMPUS, 205 W. Milwaukee St. Waterloo with Fr. Michael Radowicz presiding.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass at church on Saturday. Those wishing to express their sympathy with a memorial may wish to consider Holy Family Parish.
