Dellmar R. Schwartz, 92 of Watertown, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home.
He was born on June 29, 1923 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Joseph and Theresa (Paulus) Schwartz. He married Marion C. Kuehn on August 30, 1947 at Ebenezer Moravian Church of Watertown. Dellmar was a 1941 graduate of Watertown High School. He served in the US Army Air Force from 1943-1946. In April of 2015, Dellmar had the privilege of being part of the Honor Flight to Washington DC. He worked at Mid-State Shoe Co. in Watertown and Waterloo and Wil-Kill Pest Control of Madison for many years. He served as a City of Watertown Alderman for 3 terms and on the Watertown Airport Commission. He was a dedicated and active member of his church, serving as Elder, Trustee, and Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir. Other activities he enjoyed were traveling, playing cards and board games, following the Brewers, and in his younger years playing softball. He enjoyed people and had a witty personality. His stories and jokes will be missed by all who knew him, no matter how many times they were told.
He is survived by: his Wife Marion; Children Peggy (Michael) Barnes of Waukesha, Linda (Dennis) Rabbach of Watertown; 4 Grandchildren Kevin (Lauren) Barnes, Stephanie (Nick) Feavel, Theresa (John) Vesper, Justin (Jessica) Rabbach; 2 Great-Grandchildren John "Jay" Vesper and Holden Feavel. He is also survived by his church family and other friends.
He is preceded by his parents and his Sister Audrey in infancy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Ebenezer Moravian Church of Watertown with Rev. Sanette Francis presiding. Visitation will be from 9:30AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at Ebenezer Moravian Cemetery following the service.
