David H. Otte, 56, of Madison passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Bright Star Home.
David was born on December 9, 1960 in Saginaw, MI, the son of Alfred and Carol (Bates) Otte. David married Cassandra Bland on August 4th, 1990 and the two had a very special connection and relationship. David was very proud of his family and above all else enjoyed spending time with them. His two children, Justine and Carl were the lights of his life. David worked as a mason and was very skilled with his hands. He had a great attention to detail and a strong determination to complete whatever task he started. For leisure, David loved reading, cooking, water sports, frisbee, and classic rock. He is described by those closest to him as caring, adventurous, and fun loving. Even after his stroke, he kept his fierce determination. With a twist of a brow and a shake of one hand, he could make one word mean anything. He was sincerely loved and will be dearly missed.
David is survived by: his children Justine and Carl and their mother Cassandra Otte; parents, Alfred and Carol; siblings, Daniel (Stacy) Otte, Laurie (Frank) Finn, Patrick (Donnita) Otte, Suzanne (Keevin) Allen, Jason Otte, James (Jennifer) Otte, Mary (Anthony) Stenzel, Rebecca (Clinton) Otte-Ford, Candace (Steve) Hanks and Joseph Otte. David is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his grandparents and father-in-law.
