David H. Geise, 68 of Waterloo passed away April 13, 2014 at his home.
David was born on July 6, 1945 in Columbus, WI to Harley and Martha (Stuntebeck) Geise. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served as a medic. David spent most of his life working as a livestock transporter. He enjoyed working for the Jefferson Flea Market, going to the races at Jefferson Speedway and he loved raising his lamas. He was an enthusiastic motorcyclist and loved spending time on his Harley-Davidson. An avid fisherman, David spent many a day fishing with his close friends Robert Hollings and Dennis Sorenson.
David is survived by: his sister Dianne (Ronald) Mosher of Waterloo and his good friends Robert Hollings of Lake Mills and Dennis Sorenson of Waterloo. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held in David's honor on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 5:00PM at Holy Family Parish - Waterloo Campus with Fr. Jorge Miramontes presiding. A visitation will be from 3:00PM until the time of service at the church.
