Danny G. Ryan

Danny G. Ryan, 70 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at ProHealth Care Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Danny was born July 5, 1953, in Milwaukee, the son of Edward and Pauline (Wagner) Ryan. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church. He worked for over 40 years at Opportunities Incorporated in Fort Atkinson, later moving to St. Coletta’s. Danny had an infectious smile and bright blue eyes that lit up the room.  Danny deeply enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley, the Mamas and the Papas, and all the oldies. He had an extensive 45 and album collection at one time. There was never a day that passed that he didn’t play music or hum a tune. Above all else, family and friends meant the most to Danny, and he looked forward to reunions and holidays. All those who knew Danny loved to be around him and cherished his hugs. He will deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Danny is survived by his siblings James (Cathy) Ryan, Marjorie (Jerome) Steger, David (Robin) Ryan, Maureen (Curt) Busse, Patricia Ryan, and Kathleen Ryan. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Tommy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 8, 2023, at St. Bernard Catholic Church of Watertown with Fr. Tim Renz presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Danny will be laid to rest at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.
