Dale A. Woolever, 76, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, formerly of Waterloo, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
Dale was born on September 15, 1940, in Columbus, Wisconsin the son of Arnold and Pearl (Ehlenfeldt) Woolever. Dale married Alice Coughlin in 1963 and the two were blessed with three wonderful children. Dale's life passion was farming. He farmed the family land for most of his life. He had other pursuits during life, such as co-owning a concrete business, Woolever Concrete in Columbus, but his real love was farming and he took pride in being a farmer. Later in life, Dale lived in Florida and enjoyed all the state had to offer. He loved the ocean and soaking up the sun on the beach. Dale lived a full life and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Dale is survived by: his daughters, Kitti (John) Stiyer of Waterloo, Wisconsin and Lisa (Chuck) Dutil of Destin, Florida; a son, Keith (Lisa) Woolever of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin; 6 wonderful grandchildren: Mackenzie, Sean, Alyssa, Ryan, Zachary (Jessica) and Miranda (Rob); 3 brothers; DaWayne (Mary) Woolever, LaVerne (Barbara) Woolever and William (Christine) Woolever; a special friend Mary Lu Sauer; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.
Dale is preceded in death by: his parents, and sister Edith Kast.
A private family service will be held at a later date, with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Marshall, Wisconsin.
