Clarence W. Warren, 85, of Watertown, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Marquardt Healthcare Center in Watertown.
Clarence was born in Central City, Kentucky on May 7, 1939, the son of William and Thelma (Wiggins) Warren. He married Alma Bowen on June 27, 1958, in Central City, Kentucky, and the couple enjoyed 66 wonderful years of marriage. Clarence proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1960-1968. He was the founding member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Newburgh, Indiana, where he was the Sunday school superintendent, and truly loved teaching children’s church. After moving to Wisconsin he became a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Watertown. In his free time, He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, and most importantly he loved to tell others about Jesus.
Clarence is survived by his children Richard (Barbara) Warren, Timothy (Jyoti) Warren, grandchildren Rebekah (Blaine), Richard II (Amanda), James (Alicia), Leah, Timothy, great-grandchildren Dietrich, Eliam, Felicity, Genevieve, Henry, and his brother Ray (Patricia) Warren. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Alma.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Watertown with Rev. Chad Prigge presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial with full military honors will follow the service at Ebenezer Moravian Cemetery.
