Charlotte G. Reals, age 82, of Lake Mills, passed away on Sunday September 22, 2013 at Willowbrook Nursing Home. She was born March 21, 1931 in Beaver Dam, the daughter to Charles and Pearl(O'Connor) Root. She married Arnold Reals on September 28, 1953 in Dubuque, IA. Charlotte worked for 23 years at J.G. Van Holten and Son before retiring in 2001. She is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lake Mills.
Charlotte is survived by her children; Rick Reals of Watertown, Rita(Efrain) Ayala of Waterloo, Robin D.(Elrod Robinson) Reals of Watertown, Rosalie(Russell Lang) Reals of Clyman, stepchildren; Orville(Audrey) Reals of Lebenon, Art(Robin S.)Reals of Richland Center, Paul Reals of Johnson Creek, Marie Gray of Watertown, Frances Bringe of Madison, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, many step great grandchildren,and 3 step great great grandchildren, a sister Waneta Michalski of Jefferson, and nieces, nephews and other relatives and 2 special friends that she loved as daughters; Cheryl Wenger of Waterloo and Vicki Burden of Watertown, and her beloved cat Mitzi.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Reals on June 28, 1992, her parents, and a step grandson David Molter.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday September 26, 2013 at PEDERSON-NOWATKA FUNERAL HOME, 143 S. Washington St. Waterloo. Burial will follow at Sweet Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday September 25 at the funeral home, and also from 2:30 PM until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
