Cathy A. Metcalf, 59 of Watertown, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital of Milwaukee.
Cathy was born on April 25, 1957 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Roy and Ovella (Volland) Metcalf Sr. She is a 1975 graduate of Gage Park High School of Chicago and was employed at Bethesda Lutheran Communities as a CNA for 20 plus years. Cathy was a kind person who had a heart of gold but could be a real handful when crossed. She could clean houses from top to bottom like no other. She was a people person who was more concerned with others wellbeing and placed their needs above her own. She was a dedicated sister, mother, and grandmother who took pride in seeing her grandkids grow. She would spend her last dime to fulfill a loved one's need. Cathy will be missed.
Cathy is survived by: her Daughter Kristy Metcalf of Watertown; Brother Roy (Mary Ellen) Metcalf of Chicago; Grandchildren Allison Metcalf and Davey Carpenter; Brother-in-Law Jeff Bedford of Watertown. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Brother William, Sister Sherry Bedford, and Sister-in-Law Teresa Metcalf.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Pederson-Nowatka Funeral Home of Watertown with Rev. Dan Helwig of St. Paul's Lutheran of Sugar Island presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
