Betty Miller

Betty Lou Miller, 83 of Watertown (formally of Waterloo), passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Heritage Homes of Watertown.
She was born on March 21, 1931 in the Town of Portland, the daughter of Rudolph and Emma (Raether) Riedeman. She was a 1949 graduate of Waterloo High School. She married LeRoy Schoen on September 10, 1952 and he later died on March 28, 1977. She later married Virgil D. Miller on October 6, 1984 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Waterloo. Betty was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Waterloo where she sang in the choir. She loved music, dancing, baking, gardening, traveling and any outdoor activity.
Survivors include: a Sister Bernice Soldner of Watertown. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, both husbands, Sister Marcella Riesop, Brother Marvin "Pete" Riedeman.
Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church of Waterloo, Highland House of Waterloo or Heritage Homes of Watertown would be appreciated.
Funeral service will be held on 11:00AM Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Waterloo with Rev. Thomas Wilsmann presiding. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the Church. Burial will be at Washington Cemetery in the Town of Portland.
