Bernard Erlandson

Bernard J. “Bernie” Erlandson 61, of Waterloo, passed away on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021, at home with his family by his side.

Bernie was born on Sept. 2, 1959 in Joliet, IL the son of Iver and Elizabeth Erlandson and grew up in Deerfield, WI.

Bernie and his son Mike, shared a passion for restoring hot rods and show cars through their business.  Bernie loved drag racing, foosball, motorcycles and music. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his children and new granddaughter.

Survivors include: the love of his life, Darlene of Waterloo; son Michael of Lake Mills; daughter Danielle (Dan) Koeller of Marshall; granddaughter Luna Koeller of Marshall; sister Jane (Pete) Berg of Lake Mills.  He is also survived by a number of nephews, other relatives and many friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Edward.

A private family service will be held. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Frontiera, his nurse Jen and their staff and to hospice for all their care and compassion given to Bernie.
