Barbara A. Pickhardt 50 of Portland passed away unexpectedly Sunday March 3, 2013
Barbara was born on September 11, 1962 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frederick and Carol (Woulle) Gamboeck. Those who knew Barbara also know that there is not one word that could sum up her loving personality. She had the gift to gab and made friends wherever she went. She was a one of a kind woman and she would have done anything for the ones she loved; especially her sons. She had a love for gardening, hummingbirds, horses, hunting and fishing. She loved spending time with her sons and their significant others as well as her husband Tom and her father-in-law Richard. She also loved the company of her niece's Kacy and Katie Gamboeck.
Barb is survived by her husband Tom and His father and Mother-in-law. Her mother Carol of Reeseville, three children; Michael Lasiewicz of Columbus, Daniel (Leah) Lasiewicz of Columbus, Jacob (Kelsey) Lasiewicz of Columbus, sister Joylynn Walls of Beaver Dam, Brothers George (Lynne) Gamboeck of Marshall and Guy (Pat) Gamboeck of Reeseville. Along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. Barb was preceded in death by her beloved father Frederick Gamboeck.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday March 16, 2013 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church Waterloo with Rev. Robert Kosky presiding. Visitation will be held on Saturday 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. If desired, memorials can be made to the family.
