Barbara Nimm

Barbara A. Nimm, 87, of Watertown passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Dycora Transitional Health Center.

Barbara was born on April 28, 1932 the daughter of Otto and Adeline (Gehrke) Werth. Barabara married the love of her life Gerry Nimm on September 25, 1954 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown and the couple enjoyed 65 years of marriage. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown for many years. In Barbara’s free time she enjoyed cooking and baking, going on motorcycle rides on the back of Gerry’s Harley Davidson, and she adored animals, especially her pet rabbits, and her dog Candy. Barbara was an outgoing woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have known her.

She is survived by her husband Gerry and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and eight sisters.

A funeral service for Barabara will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dustin Yahnke presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at 1:30pm at Glenview Memorial Gardens.
