Barbara A. Duessler, 63 of Waterloo, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Rainbow Hospice Center of Johnson Creek.
Barb was born on July 19, 1953 in Columbus, WI, the daughter of Eugene and Dolores (Trieglaff) Kleinschmidt. The family lived in the Marshall area and on August 26, 1972 she married Paul Duessler at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Marshall. The couple had 4 children. Barb loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing with her husband and father-in-law. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching moves. On Saturdays she often played Pokeno with her Sisters and she volunteered her time at the Food Pantry for a number of years. She loved "Little House on the Prairie" and even met many of the cast members. Above all else, Barb cherished time spent her grandchildren and she will be missed.
Barb is survived by: her Husband Paul; Children Daniel (Sara) of Marshall, Tim (Brianna Bingham) of Waterloo, Shelly (Steve Perry) Duessler of Lodi, and Kari (John) Marty of Waterloo; 16 grandchildren; 5 Sisters Kristi, Cindy, Patti, Donna, and Diane; 3 Brothers Alan, Steve, and Jeff. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Granddaughter Morgin, and Sister Sheryl.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Waterloo with Rev. Robb Kosky presiding. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at a later date.
