Anne Peirick

October 15, 1919 — March 11, 2013

Anne Raiche Peirick 93, of Watertown passed away on Monday March 11, 2013 at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
Anne was born on Oct. 15, 1919 in Glendorado, MN the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Struffert) Schimanski. She married Duane Raiche on Oct. 1, 1940, he died on March 31, 1975; she later married Leonard Peirick on July 18, 1981 who later died on July 4, 1994. Anne worked as a seamstress at Glen Manufacturing in Watertown and also taught at MATC in Watertown and Johnson Creek for 22 years. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Christian Mothers of the Church, Catholic Women's Club and AARP. She was an avid card player, loved gardening, knitting, crocheting and needle arts.
Survivors include: son Paul (Zerithea) Raiche of Lake Mills and daughter-in-law Pauline Raiche of Delafield; 7 step children David (Bonnie) Peirick of Watertown, Albert (Marilyn) Peirick of Watertown, Michael (RuthAnn) Peirick of Ashippun, Roy Peirick of Watertown, Ruth (Richard) Walthers of Helenville, Marion (Duane) Kovalaske of Fox Lake and Linda (Edward) Schuett of Watertown; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 19 step grandchildren; 26 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters Rose Jaeger of Waite Park, MN and Alice Harris of Sauk Rapids, MN; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sons Harold and Duane Raiche, daughter-in-law Mary Raiche, brother George, and sisters Magdalen Schimanski, Bernice Zopfi and Leona Landwehr and sister-in-law Dorothy Schimanski. Memorials to St. Henry's Catholic Church or the Charity of One's choice would be appreciated.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Friday March 15, 2013 at St. Henry's Catholic Church with the Msgr. Daniel Ganshert presiding. Visitation will be held at the church, on Friday 9:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
