Abbigail Rose Haberkorn, 19 of Waterloo, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Watertown Regional Medical Center.
Abbi was born in Madison, WI on October 18, 1996, the daughter of Liz Kiersten and Curt (Laurie) Haberkorn. She attended Waterloo High School and earned her diploma in 2015. Abbi had a bubbly personality with an infectious demeanor that was so easy to love. For those who knew her best, she was often referred to as "Gabby" or "Gabbs", as she loved to talk. She was a talented writer and had many followers of her submitted stories on many "Fan-Fiction" websites. She loved all forms of art and music and was gifted in many media's. She loved her family and friends and was able to bring joy to all she came in contact with. She will be dearly missed by many.
Abbi is survived by: her Parents Liz Kiersten of Waterloo and Curt (Laurie) Haberkorn of Fort Atkinson; Sister and Best Friend Brianna Bailey of Waterloo, Step Siblings LeAnn Phillips of Whitewater, Amy Kurtz of Whitewater, and Tyler Phillips of Fort Atkinson; Maternal Grandparents Cindy (Steve) Butzine of Waterloo and Dan (Gloria) Kiersten of Durango, CO, Paternal Grandparents Dennis (Sharon) Haberkorn of Sun Prairie and Nancy Hasleu of Richmond, KY, Maternal Great-Grandparents Doris (Harvey) Duessler of Waterloo and Phyllis Kiersten of Sun Prairie; Special Nephew Camaro Mott of Columbus. She is also survived by a number of other nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Abbi is preceded in death by: her paternal grandparents and great-grandparents, and her maternal great-grand father.
A memorial service will be held at 5:30PM on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Marshall with the Rev. Paul Anderson presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2:00PM until the time of service at the church.
